We're looking for a General Manager for a beautiful community pub in Nuneaton. Salary up to £40,000 plus bonus and a generous benefits package.There is no live in accommodation available with this pub.

Marston’s is one of the UK’s largest and most beloved pub chains and today, we operate more than 1,300 pubs, bars and hotels.Now, we’re on the lookout for a great General Manager to take charge at the Acorn in Nuneaton, and lead the team to success!

About the pub

The Acorn is a beautiful looking pub with a thatched roof, and working open fire place. The pub benefits from operating via a number of different areas which can be used for dining, drinking, and pool.

Currently the business is wet led (80/20) and is achieving average weekly sales of around £20,000.

There is a garden area both to the front and to the back of the pub, which means the business thrives in the summer.The Acorn is ideally located, surrounded by new build houses with more being built and further expansion planned into the future giving a constant new flow of footfall.

There are also a number of shops opposite the pub which provide great support, as well as Nuneaton Town Centre being only a mile away.

There is an existing events plan in place which is growing each week. However, there is definitely an opportunity to make those days/evenings bigger.

In terms of senior team, currently there is an Assistant Manager, Supervisor and an experienced Head Chef in place.
