Job description

General Manager - North Walsham

Contract Personnel are looking for an experienced General Manager for an award-winning facilities management company based in North Walsham.

How does the day-to-day look?

  1. Supervising and participating in the cleaning of floors, communal areas, stairwells, washrooms, and other spaces
  2. Managing staff rotas, holiday requests, site audits, and assisting with the recruitment of new team members
  3. Identifying and delivering on-site training, while maintaining accurate records
  4. Assisting with investigations related to personal accidents or potential disciplinary matters
  5. Managing on-site cleaning supplies, maintaining stock levels, and placing orders in line with site budgets

You will have:
  1. The right to work in the UK
  2. Previous experience as a Manager or Supervisor within cleaning or a related field (highly desirable)
  3. Confidence and proficiency in managing rotas, staffing, training, and maintaining basic HR compliance
  4. Excellent customer service skills
  5. A full UK driving licence
  6. Strong computer literacy and confidence using internal systems and software
  7. The ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and demonstrate flexibility with working hours and days

Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00-17:00 (with a day off in the week) during peak season and then Monday to Friday during off peak

Salary: £35,(Apply online only)
