We're looking for a General Manager for The Carnarvon Arms, situated right next to the iconic Highclere Castle near Newbury. This countryside coaching inn offers a quintessential country pub experience with hearty pub classics and a focus on game and locally sourced ingredients. The pub features a beautiful dining room, a smart bar area, a terrace at the front, a garden at the rear, and various cozy nooks and crannies.

Running a Pub for Young's:

We believe pubs should be unique and individual, and we are seeking entrepreneurial General Managers to put their own stamp on our businesses. You have the freedom to decide what goes on the food menu—tailoring your offer to your guests and growing the business in line with your vision. You will also choose what events to host, determine the team uniform, and handle recruitment and marketing.
