Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated General Manager to lead our team and ensure the successful operation of our catering services at a small contract catering unit dedicated to providing exceptional dining experiences for our clients. Our focus is on quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.

This is a hands-on General Manager role where you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the unit, from day-to-day operations to strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the catering unit, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional service delivery.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction and grow the business.
• Oversee menu planning, food preparation, and presentation, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Manage budgets, financial performance, and cost control measures.
• Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership and staff development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a managerial role within the catering or hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Financial acumen and experience in budget management.
• A passion for food, quality, and customer service.
