We are looking for a General Manager to join our team.

The General Manager will take the lead role in the management of Kaplan Living Liverpool, ensuring the property is managed and operated in line with agreed operating principles driving industry-leading service levels to students, parents and stakeholders.

In Liverpool, the residence and the University of Liverpool International College (UOLIC) are in the same building, so the General Manager will also be responsible for College building operations, to support a collaborative, student-centred environment where College and residential services work as one cohesive team.

What you’ll bring to the role

Experience of working in student accommodation

Demonstrable approach to service excellence, customer care and a sensitivity to students’ needs

Understanding of and commitment to safeguarding and welfare practices within an educational environment

Working knowledge of the ANUK Accreditation Scheme and Health and Safety Management

Experience effectively plan to manage budgets and resources efficiently and meet priorities and targets

Experience leading a team proactively in the delivery of high quality services and continuous improvement

Can embed inclusive practices in all aspects of their work
