Overview

General Manager Cambridgeshire New Venue Opening GBP50,000 +

We're looking for an experienced General Manager for the exciting opening of a new Bistro in Cambridgeshire. This is a great opportunity to build a team from the ground up and establish a strong, community-focused business from day one.

What We Offer
  • Excellent Earnings: A base salary of GBP38000, with an OTE of around GBP50,000.
  • Bonus Potential: You'll receive a GBP500 quarterly bonus and an annual profit bonus.
  • Creative Leadership: You'll be in charge of pre-opening preparations, including recruitment, training, and setting up all systems and processes.
  • Full Autonomy: Within 12 months, the role could shift to a fully operational position, giving you the opportunity to drive the venue's continued success.
Your Role as General Manager

As the General Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of the venue's opening and daily operations. You will:

  • Nurture the pre-opening preparations, including recruitment and training.
  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the cafe.
  • Develop and nurture a strong, motivated team.
  • Work with kitchen and barista teams to maintain high standards of food and service.
  • Build strong connections with the local community.
  • Manage budgets, stock, and operational targets to ensure commercial success.
