We are working with a fantastic Independent School catering provider who is searching for a new Head of Catering for this amazing school in the heart of Sussex.

About the role:

As Head of Catering, you will be responsible for overseeing all catering, hospitality, and internal/external events. The role is largely Monday – Friday, but some weekends may be required during the year. The ideal candidate will have experience in the independent school sector or B&I market.

The Head of Catering will oversee and develop a team both front and back of house, working with some of the best in the industry.

Ideal Head of Catering:

• Experience in contract catering, ideally within independent schools or B&I.
• Experience in recruiting, training, and mentoring staff to create a motivated, high-performing team.
• Financial understanding and P&L management, including experience in budget writing.
• A strategic thinker with innovative ideas to drive the business forward.
