Located in the heart of London’s West End, Soho is one of the capital’s most vibrant and diverse neighbourhoods. Famous for its nightlife, hospitality, theatres, restaurants and longstanding LGBTQIA+ community, the area attracts a lively mix of Londoners, workers and visitors throughout the week. With Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square just minutes away, it’s a fast‑paced, energetic place to work at the centre of London’s entertainment scene.
Rupert Street Bar is one of Soho’s longest-established and most recognisable LGBTQIA+ venues, located in the heart of London’s West End. Operating from one main bar with no food offer, the business is focused entirely on drinks, atmosphere and great service. Famous for its Soho Happy Hour, Rupert Street attracts a loyal customer base alongside strong passing trade, creating a lively, fast‑paced and energetic atmosphere throughout the week.
Opportunities to lead a venue like Rupert Street don’t come around often, and therefore we’re looking for a genuinely high‑performing leader with the ambition, energy and commercial instinct to take the business forward. You’ll be entrepreneurial and self‑reliant, taking full ownership for building sales and identifying opportunities. You’ll thoroughly understand Soho, its LGBTQIA+ community and the demographic we serve, while having the foresight to see where the market and customer will be in 18 months to two years. You’ll have a proven track record of delivering green compliance alongside strong commercial results, with the ability to establish excellent operational standards within your first six weeks while maintaining and accelerating sales growth. Above all, we’re looking for someone who doesn’t simply manage a successful venue, but has the vision and drive to make it even more successful.
Please Note: To be eligible to apply, you MUST hold a valid Personal Licence.
