Job summary

Holroyd Howe is seeking a General Catering Manager to lead the kitchen at Notting Hill & Ealing High School. You will manage day-to-day kitchen operations, deliver fresh meals to pupils and staff, and ensure excellent service in a school setting.

You will join a specialist contract catering team that serves independent schools, with a focus on allergen controls, safety, and high-quality menu planning. The role is based on-site in London, with term-time plus structure and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Chef Manager or similar role within contract catering, ideally the Independent Education sector.
  • Strong kitchen management and leadership skills.
  • Passionate about using fresh, seasonal ingredients to create balanced, appealing menus.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, allergen management, and sustainability best practices.

Job Title: General Catering Manager

Location: Notting Hill & Ealing High School (GST) - 2 Cleveland Rd, London, W13 8AX

Contract Type: Term-time plus, approx 45 working weeks + 5 weeks paid holiday = 52 weeks over all (perm).

Salary: £50,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Catering Manager to lead the kitchen team at Notting Hill and Ealing High School, a private day school for girls aged 4-18 in Ealing, London.

As the Catering Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day kitchen operations, delivering fresh, high-quality meals, and ensuring exceptional food service for pupils, staff, and visitors.

You will be joining Holroyd Howe, one of the UK’s leading contract caterers, providing fresh innovative food services solely to independent schools and colleges.
