General Manager – Entertainment & Leisure Venue

Are you an experienced leader with a passion for creating exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced, high-energy environment? We're looking for a General Manager to take the reins of a thriving entertainment and leisure venue – someone who can lead from the front, build a brilliant team culture, and deliver strong commercial performance while keeping the customer at the heart of everything.

This is a standout opportunity for someone with retail, leisure, or hospitality management experience to bring their leadership, commercial acumen and customer-first mindset to a dynamic and creative setting.

What You’ll Be Doing

As General Manager, you'll have full operational and strategic responsibility for the venue. That means making sure every part of the business is running smoothly – from guest experience to team performance to financial results.

Your focus will be to:

  • Lead and inspire a team across operations, customer service, and technical delivery
  • Create a high-performing culture where people love coming to work
  • Take full accountability for the venue’s profit and loss, labour planning, and key performance targets
  • Ensure the customer journey is seamless, safe, and enjoyable at every stage
  • Use data and insight to drive decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with area teams to implement new initiatives and deliver consistent standards
  • Act as the face of the venue locally, building partnerships and promoting a positive brand reputation

You’ll need to be comfortable wearing multiple hats – part coach, part operator, part strategist – and thrive in an environment where no two days are the same.

You’ll bring:

  • Significant leadership experience in a high-volume, customer-facing environment (retail, hospitality, or leisure ideal)
  • A proven ability to manage large, diverse teams and develop talent at all levels
  • Strong commercial awareness and confidence managing budgets, KPIs, and performance targets
  • A calm, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving, especially under pressure
  • A hands-on, lead-by-example style – you’re not afraid to roll your sleeves up
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • A full UK driving licence – due to the location, you'll need to be able to drive
