Job description

This is a full-time position responsible for the day-to-day running of the business. Responsible for leading the team in all sales and operational processes, with a keen eye for detail and ability to OWN IT. This role is accountable to various KPIs and is responsible for the recruitment, nurturing, and development of an elevated team capable of achieving them consistently.

The Responsibilities

  • Represent Everlast Gyms as a fitness ambassador
  • Demonstrate our elevated ways of working consistently
  • Drive revenue from membership sales, product, and secondary streams to improve overall profitability
  • Manage controllable costs such as stock orders and cleaning supplies to prevent wastage
  • Lead by example on reception and the gym floor to enhance member experience
  • Ensure delivery of central processes like FUNDAMENTALS, ASCEND & MOVE at high standards
  • Promote national focuses & incentives like #WorkoutWednesday & #WeCommunicate
  • Recruit, monitor, train, and onboard new team members
  • Complete all operational processes to high standards regularly
  • Provide honest, constructive feedback to support team development
  • React resiliently and adaptively to challenges, finding solutions
  • Manage policies and procedures including Health & Safety and pool plant operations
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times

Minimum Requirements

  • Passion for health, fitness, and wellness
  • Level 2 qualification in fitness (desirable)
  • At least 1 year of management experience in the fitness industry
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Adaptability in communication and management styles
  • Positive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a member champion mentality
  • Driven, ambitious, and eager to learn and develop
  • Flexibility to work hours including weekends and bank holidays as needed
