Overview

We\'re looking for a General Manager for a fantastic community pub & hotel in South Normanton. Salary up to £47,000 plus bonus and a generous benefits package.

Marston’s is one of the UK’s largest and most beloved pub chains and today, we operate more than 1,300 pubs, bars and hotels. Now, we’re on the lookout for a great General Manager to take charge at the Boundary in South Normanton and lead the team to success!

About the pub

Nestled on the edge of a big housing estate, the Boundary is a unique business with massive potential to grow.

It\'s a multi-faceted business featuring a hotel, large function room, meeting room as well as the fantastic community pub which services a great crowd of regulars and local families. It also benefits from a large car park and outdoor area, as well as being adjacent to some shops which also drive footfall from the local estate.

The pub delivers a Marston\'s community menu but also benefits from a pizza oven. Currently the pub is achieving weekly sales of around £25,000 split 60/30/10 (wet/dry/rooms).

There is so much opportunity to build on this business and increase sales through driving local, community activity, maximising the hotel capacity and creating a reputation with the function space as a go-to for local events and celebrations.
