The Role

As a Maintenance Person, you will perform general maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities. Responsibilities include inspecting, logging, and reporting items needing specialist maintenance. Typical duties include minor repairs, painting, furniture building, changing light bulbs, unblocking toilets, and gardening. You will also support health and safety efforts within the service and travel between sites.

The role is based in a modern residential care home in Edgware, north London, for adults with disabilities. The home adopts a person-centered, flexible approach, supporting residents' control and choices, with activities like fitness classes, sports, and healthy eating support. The organisation also provides independent living and nursing care onsite.
