Job Description:

Under general supervision, this position performs technical and general maintenance work on facilities and building equipment, structures, systems, and hardware.

  1. Complete all Work Tasks and PM’s in a safe and timely matter.
  2. Participate in the daily morning meetings with the entire team to discuss the work to be performed as well as a safety topic for that day.
  3. Practice safe work habits in everything they do.
  4. Participate in weekly hands-on training sessions on various tasks and equipment every Thursday.
  5. Ensure STA’s are completed daily before each shift and signed the following day before the next shift begins.
  6. Ensure all JSA’s have been read and signed for all tasks that we perform.
  7. Assist all service contractors as needed.
  8. Complete timecards daily at the end of that shift.
  9. Provide Weekly updates to the General Maintenance Supervisor on all Tasks/Projects.
  10. Participate in the Fire Extinguisher and Emergency Eyewash station Program which accounts for more than 600 Fire Extinguishers and 38 Eyewash stations site-wide.
  11. Maintain PM Books for all Inside Maintenance PM’s to include, but not limited to Secure Doors, Raised Floor Inspections, Turnstiles, Shop Equipment, and Building inspections.
  12. Perform furniture reconfigurations using five different types of modular furniture using more than a thousand different parts.
  13. Ensure all Personnel have the proper Tools, Equipment, and PPE to perform all tasks.
  14. As a working supervisor, oversee the activity, tasking, and workflow for up to 6 personnel.
  15. Complete annual appraisals for supervised employees and provide periodic performance feedback.
  16. Conduct movement of materiel and furniture as required.
  17. Participate in training sessions on advanced skills such as Framing walls, Installing Drywall, Finishing, Painting, Installing Carpet, Installing ceiling, Raised Floors, Doors, Concrete finishing, and Woodworking to assist the general Maintenance personnel in developing their skills.
  18. Complete all HRMS, Fluor, and High side mandatory computer-based training annually.
  19. Maintain the certification of CPR/AED.
  20. Participate in the Classified Material Destruction program, including emptying more than 50 Classified Material bins throughout the site every two weeks and operating and maintaining the Destruct Machines as needed.
  21. Must be skilled and knowledgeable in the following areas: Hand Tools, Power Tools, Patching walls, Painting, Floor Tiles, Ceiling Tiles, Hanging Pictures, Laborer, Landscaping, mowing/trimming, and building shelving.
  22. Work with the Archibus team to ensure all Assets are accounted for and accurately identified and recorded.
  23. Other tasks as assigned.
