Job summary

CV Technical is recruiting an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer for a days-based role in the S20 area. You will work within a busy manufacturing environment, keeping production machinery and site facilities running safely and efficiently.

This hands-on role combines electrical fault finding with mechanical maintenance, planned and reactive tasks, and general building-services support across the site. You’ll need a recognised electrical engineering qualification and strong health & safety

Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer

S20 | £42,000 - £45,000 | Days

Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 per annum

Shift: Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm | Friday 7:30am - 12:30pm

Location: S20

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in the S20 area.

This is a hands-on role offering a great balance between industrial maintenance and general building services, making it ideal for an engineer who enjoys variety and being involved across the site.

The Role

Working as part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for keeping both the production machinery and wider site facilities running safely and efficiently.

The role will involve a mixture of planned and reactive maintenance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Electrical fault finding and maintenance on production machinery
• Mechanical maintenance and repairs
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Responding to machinery breakdowns
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults
• Maintaining motors, sensors, control systems and associated equipment
• Supporting general building and facilities maintenance
• Replacing light bulbs and carrying out basic electrical building-services work
• Dealing with general site maintenance issues as they arise
• Assisting with plumbing and facilities issues, such as blocked toilets and general repairs
• Ensuring the site remains safe, functional and well maintained

About You

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer who is comfortable working across both machinery and general site services.

You should have:

• A recognised electrical engineering qualification
• Strong electrical fault-finding experience
• Good mechanical maintenance knowledge
• Previous experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Experience with planned and reactive maintenance
• A practical, hands-on approach
• The ability to turn your hand to general facilities and building-services tasks
• Good health & safety awareness
• A willingness to get involved and solve problems across the site
