Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Facilities Coordinator and Management team to provide contractors access to sites across 9 locations in Doncaster during normal working hours.
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance as directed by site service engineers and the Contract Delivery Manager, including fault finding, testing, repairing, and preventative maintenance of equipment, systems, and services.
- Update and close completed PPM tasks in the CAFM system.
- Maintain a safe and healthy working environment, ensuring compliance with all company policies, client site policies, procedures, and working arrangements.
- Prepare and adhere to Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safety.
- Supervise subcontractors to ensure contractual and site compliance.
- Follow controls within the Permit to Work system.
- Support static and mobile Site Services Officers/Engineers.
- Diagnose and rectify faults effectively.
- Assist site service engineers, contract management, and admin teams with daily operations and issues.
- Communicate effectively with clients and end users.
- Work flexibly to meet client and business needs, including responding to emergencies and covering out-of-hours work when necessary.
- Organize and oversee subcontractor labor as needed.
- Conduct asset collection and condition surveys to assist the Site Service Engineers and Contract Delivery Manager.
- Maintain health and safety records and promote good practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth contract operations within the region.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain accurate documentation of site work.
- Inspect services and address callouts/repairs proactively.
- Participate in site emergencies and callouts outside of normal hours, mainly when covering for engineers on leave or sick.
- Perform tasks in plant room environments and at heights, using provided access equipment and PPE.
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Full UK driving licence.
- Good understanding of health and safety practices.
- Basic knowledge of joinery, general DIY, and plumbing skills.
