Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking General Labourers / Warehouse Operatives to support construction and civil engineering projects in the UK. The role is hands-on and suited to those who enjoy practical work within a team.

Duties include loading, unloading, cleaning and preparing equipment, helping with stock control and maintaining a safe, tidy working environment. Long-term temp with perm opportunities, typical hours are 07:00–16:30, with 28 days leave pro-rata and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties.
• Be reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Previous warehouse, labouring, yard or industrial experience would be beneficial, although full training can be provided.

We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking General Labourers / Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and growing operation supporting the construction and civil engineering sector.

This is a varied, hands-on role ideal for candidates who enjoy practical work and being part of a team.

Duties may include:

• Loading and unloading equipment and materials
• Cleaning, preparing and checking machinery and equipment
• Assisting with warehouse operations and stock control
• General yard and labouring duties
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Supporting colleagues with day-to-day operational tasks

Duration: long term ongoing with perm opportunities.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: Starting wage £12.71 p/hOvertime paid at time and a half after 40 hours.28 days annual leave pro-rata.Weekly pay.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday,Typically 07:00 – 16:30.30 Min Breaks40-45 hours a week
