Job summary

Sodexo is recruiting a General Labourer for Army HQ, Monxton Road, Andover, Hampshire SP11 8HT. You will support day-to-day site operations, maintaining a safe, clean and well-organised environment while working with Armed Forces personnel.

Roles include general labouring, manual handling and housekeeping tasks, with shift patterns across five days in seven and a 6.30-14.30 / 14.30-23.00 window. Full training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills with colleagues, customers and site personnel.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
• Physically able to perform manual handling and general labouring tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Support site operations with general labouring duties safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a safe and tidy environment; manage housekeeping and storage.
• Assist with manual handling using proper techniques and equipment.
• Follow health and safety procedures and site rules at all times.
• Operate tools and equipment only after training and guidance given.
• Collaborate with team and attend daily briefs to understand priorities.
