Responsibilities:

1. Perform physical labour tasks such as lifting.
2. Operate baler and barrel press machines, hand tools and power tools as required.
3. Operate a counter balance FLT.
4. Loading and Unloading Vehicles.
5. Drive the company van to various clients outlets to collect and drop off items.
6. Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
7. Emptying of paint tins and solvent thinners into IBC's.
8. General Waste Duties around Site, such as cleaning up, filling and storing waste bins on trailers and any other duties required.

Experience:

1. Previous experience in recycling or the waste industry or a similar labor-intensive field is preferred, but not essential.
2. Must have a clean driving licence and an in date counterbalance forklift truck licence.
3. Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions.
4. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
5. Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
6. Basic knowledge of balers, compactors, hand tools and power tools is a plus.
