Job summary

FBR Construction Recruitment is seeking a General Labourer for a new build site in Ivybridge, Devon. The role runs from 28 September 2026 for 10 months, with hours 07:30 to 16:30.

Duties include housekeeping, material handling, unloading wagons, assisting with deliveries, litter picking and general tasks as requested by the Site Manager. The position requires a CSCS card and physical ability to undertake manual work on a busy construction site.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card required for site access.
• Experience in general labouring or construction support useful.
• Ability to perform manual handling and lifting as required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep up rubbish and keep the site tidy.
• Store materials and unload wagons safely.
• Assist with deliveries and movement of goods around site.
• Litter picking and general site maintenance duties.
• Assist the Site Manager with tasks as required.
• Lift and shift materials and support other crews as needed.

Job description

General Labourer required to work on a new build construction site in Ivybridge in Devon from 28th September - July 2027.

Duties will include sweeping up rubbish, storing materials, unloading wagons and helping with deliveries, litter picking and lifting and shifting materials and all other associated tasks as requested by the Site Manager.

Rate: £17.43 per hour

Hours: 07:30am - 4:30pm
