Job description

Pertemps is looking for multiple general labour candidates to assist in a warehouse by supporting their racking systems.

Candidates must be comfortable with and have experience using power tools.

Please see below for requirements:

• Epsom 02/07/2025 - x 10 candidates for 2 days
• Worcester Park 03/07/2025 - x 4 candidates for 1 day

Details

Pay rate: £17.36 per hour

Shifts: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

Operators are required to:

• Follow clear instructions
• Always adhere to safety standards
• Use various tools such as impact drivers, drills, Stanley knives, and measuring tools
• Show agility and adaptability with support from the Royal Mail Lead
• Be physically fit
• Be punctual; flexibility may be required depending on work demands

Specifically, candidates should be able to:

• Bolt and unbolt sorting frames (approx. 5 ft high, 6 ft wide, weighing about 45 kg)
• Use a drill to screw and unscrew bolts into frames
• Move and reposition sorting frames with colleagues' support
• Use vinyl wrap and duct tape to secure onto sorting frames under supervision
• Load and unload vehicles (large vans) at operational sites
