Job Title: General Hospital Porter

Location: Nuffield Health Oxford, The Manor Hospital

Contract: Bank Contract | Part Time

Salary: £12.25 per hour

Role Overview

Are you good with people? Comfortable with physical tasks such as pushing beds and lifting heavy equipment? Join the UK’s largest Healthcare Charity in a rewarding role that helps care for the nation’s health.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage waste streams (clinical, domestic, recycling, special).
  2. Conduct security checks, including early morning opening and evening lockdowns.
  3. Control access to the basement car park.
  4. Manage internal and external post, including recording postal use by third parties.
  5. Maintain the external environment, including the basement car park.
  6. Move furniture, equipment, and medical gases to departments.
  7. Support the Head Porter and Facilities Manager to ensure service levels from third-party providers are met.
Qualifications & Requirements

Must be comfortable with physical work and good communication skills. Willing to undergo DBS checks.
