• General farm work and routine maintenance
• To assist with the day to day operations of the livestock enterprise with both cattle and sheep, to include feeding, bedding, weighing, recording, stocktaking and planning activities.
• To ensure high standards of the estate appearance is maintained, making improvements wherever possible and no business activity impacts adversely on the reputation of the Dyson brand.
• Demonstrate a proactive attitude and commitment to health and safety.
• Operating modern machinery to a high standard and supporting with the farm operations.
• Demonstrate commitment to personal development by undergoing training where necessary.
• To ensure a high level of welfare for the livestock on farm.
• Any other ad hoc duties within your capabilities.

Person Specification

• Demonstrate a proactive attitude and commitment to health and safety
• Operate to our high standards of compliance
• Knowledge of modern agricultural machinery
• Commitment to undertake continued training and development
• Holds an up to date certificate for telescopic forklift and UTV/ATV
• Good organisational skills
• Professional manner
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Proactive and flexible approach to work
• Willing to take responsibility and ownership for tasks
• Ability to work under own initiative but also as part of the wider Dyson team Farming
• Holds a current UK driving licence
