Job description

Job vacancy- General Farm Worker, full time.

Helston/Falmouth Cornwall.

We are farming 1250ac with 400 autumn calving dairy cows, plus dairy replacements and beef reared to finish. The farm continues to invest in buildings and infrastructure. The herd is TMR fed with grazing in summer months. We also growing 500ac of corn and maize for own use. We are a diverse team and keep the job varied, we strive to maintain high standards of work.

The role will include a mix of tractor driving, cattle work, and on occasion assisting with milking.

Applicants must be competent in basic tractor driving and have a basic understanding of livestock husbandry as a minimum. Most importantly to us is a can-do attitude and a desire to learn. Training in all areas can and will be provided if needed. A good attitude and attention to detail is important in all aspects. Along with working well in a team.

Pay dependant on experience.

Driving licence is required
