General Farm Worker/Herdsperson Job - Cornwall

Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic herdsperson to join our team, responsible for milking 120 Holstein Friesian cows, calving all year round. The farm features modern milking facilities and offers a good working environment.

Responsibilities

1. Milking cows
2. Calf management
3. Grassland management
4. Feeding dry cows and young stock
5. Assisting with calving
6. Administrative tasks as required

Requirements

• Milking experience is essential
• Ability to work independently
• Keen eye for detail
• IT skills are preferable
• Full UK Driving Licence

Accommodation

Accommodation is provided for single persons only, including a double room, shared kitchen, and food. The location is in a beautiful part of Cornwall, near beaches popular for surfing.
