Our client is an entrepreneurial, fast growth business with significant plans to grow substantially in the next few years both nationally and internationally. They are recruiting heavily across the organization, including seeking to fill a new position for a General Counsel.

Responsibilities:

• Working as part of the executive team, supporting the business’s growth plans by leading and executing multiple growth strategies.
• Establishing and developing a legal team, implementing processes and procedures.
• Overseeing external law firms, managing processes and transactions.

We are looking for:

• An experienced solicitor with a minimum of 8 years PQE.
• Experience with Silver or Magic law firms.
• Preferably experience working in-house.
• The ability to undertake a business advisory and strategic role.
• Experience in corporate transactions would be a distinct advantage, though practice area is less important.
