A fantastic new location for a global technology company, focused on energy innovation for a balanced planet. We are hiring for their offices in Abingdon, catering to about 200 people daily. The service includes breakfast, lunch, grab & go, bakery, and hospitality. This is a Monday to Friday operation.

We currently have a great opportunity for a General Catering Assistant to join our friendly team at our prestigious contract in Abingdon.

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday, 9:30 am - 2:30 pm (5 hours daily)

Responsibilities:
  • Serve clients during meal service periods.
  • Assist in setting up the dining area.
  • Prepare food following hygiene and safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and service areas.
  • Clear and store food, beverages, and equipment after functions.
  • Restock supplies during service to ensure smooth operation.
  • Operate cleaning and dishwashing equipment properly.
  • Complete cleaning and hygiene duties as required.
  • Interact professionally with customers and staff.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Follow all policies and procedures to ensure professionalism and compliance.
  • Wear a clean, appropriate uniform at all times.
  • Conduct food temperature checks as required.
  • Respond to reasonable requests from management.
  • Report hazards and ensure health & safety standards are met.
Personal Skills & Attributes:
  • Experience in catering and customer service.
  • Strong team skills, good listening abilities, and initiative.
  • Impeccable personal presentation and hygiene.
  • Food hygiene certification preferred.
  • Flexible, reliable, honest, and customer-focused.
