Job summary

St George's Catholic Primary School in Worcester is seeking a General Catering Assistant to join Sodexo Group. The role offers a friendly, supportive team and flexible hours within term-time.

You will assist with food prep and service, maintain hygiene, and help provide a quality dining experience for pupils and staff. Training is provided and DBS checks apply.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 10 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday-Friday, 11:30am-1:30pm
Contract: Term Time Only – 39 weeks, Permanent, Part Time

About the Role

As a General Catering Assistant, you'll support the day-to-day running of a busy food service operation. From preparing and serving food to keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and organised, you'll help ensure everything runs smoothly.

Additional Information

Term Time Only - Equated Pay
This role works 39 weeks per year. Your salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments across 12 months, meaning you receive consistent pay throughout the year, including during school closure periods.
