  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals, including breakfast andlunchfollowing established menus and recipes
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of front-of-house areas, including proper arrangement of dishes and utensils
  • Adhere to food safety standards, implementing proper food handling and storage procedures
  • Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies, reporting shortages or discrepancies to management
  • Provide friendly and efficient service to customers during mealtimes, addressing concerns and special dietary needs
  • Participate in training sessions and meetings related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless dining experience for all customers
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for various events and meal services
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, following all relevant health and safety regulations

Qualifications

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to a collaborative work environment
  • Flexible approach to work, including willingness to adapt to changing schedules and tasks
  • Physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good time management skills and ability to multitask
  • Enthusiasm for food service and creating positive dining experiences
  • GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths (desirable)
  • Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable, but training can be provided)
  • Basic DBS Certificate
