Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter/General Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in all aspects of residential building work, including carpentry, general building, and maintenance tasks. This is a versatile role, you will be expected to work across many disciplines of construction and independently at times, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard while maintaining a strong focus on safety, efficiency and customer satifaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out general 1st & 2nd fix carpentry duties.

• Assist in completing a range of residential building works, including small repairs, maintenance, and larger extensions.

• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of projects from start to finish.

• Experience at Interpreting the customers wants/needs to deliver accurate, high-quality results.

• Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues.

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.

• Assist with the delivery and management of materials and tools on-site.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter and General Builder with a strong background in residential building works.

• Ability to work independently and efficiently without supervision, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

• Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques and general building practices.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

• Good communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients and colleagues professionally.

• Full UK driving license and reliable transportation.
