Job summary

Baxterstorey Uk is recruiting a General Assistant at our Tower Bridge location in London. The role involves preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner with Barista duties, on a 24-hour-per-week schedule (Tue–Thu) at £14.80 per hour.

You will join a team delivering high-quality education catering, with training and development opportunities, plus a benefits package including holidays, parental leave, pension and wellbeing support.

Job Description

As a General Assistant you will…

• Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner according to established menus and recipes.
• Barista work
• Overtime offered when events on site
• Maintain cleanliness of the front of house areas including organising dishes and utensils.
• Following proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
• Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.
• Participate in training sessions and meeting related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
