The Battersea General Store is recruiting a General Store Assistant at London Battersea Power Station.

Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a General Store Assistant to join our Food and Beverage team. This is a great opportunity for a customer-focused individual to join our team.

Role Responsibilities

• Customer service
• Ensuring the store is clean and tidy
• Following all health and safety regulations
• Operating the tills
• Filling stock from warehouse to shelves
• Unloading deliveries and ensuring stock rotation
• Helping with store cleaning
• Following management instructions

The Ideal Candidate

• Good customer service and communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate great teamwork
• Experience working in a similar environment
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety

Occasional travel to other locations may be required.

Package Description

This role offers a great opportunity to join our store team, which upholds a 'One Team' ethos. Successful applicants will have a 'can do' attitude. You will work 5 out of 7 shifts, including weekends. Shifts are from 6:30 to 14:30 or 13:30 to 23:15. Flexibility with working days is appreciated. Currently, the pay is at the national minimum wage, but this can be discussed during the interview based on experience.
