Starrycare is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Assistant to support day-to-day operations across our client sites. The role involves housekeeping, catering, cleaning, and general support while upholding high hygiene, safety, and customer service standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning, preparing and serving food and beverages where applicable, maintaining safe and organized areas, replenishing supplies, and reporting any issues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in general assistant, cleaning, catering, or hospitality is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of health & safety, hygiene, and infection control.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Right to work in the UK and DBS check willingness.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general cleaning, housekeeping, and catering duties as required.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages where applicable.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organised work areas.
• Replenish supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issues.
• Follow health & safety, infection control, and COSHH procedures.
• Assist colleagues to ensure the efficient running of the service.
• Provide a friendly and professional service to service users, visitors, and staff.
• Adhere to organisational policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
• Participate in training and continuous professional development.
