Title: General Assistant - Great Western Hotel
Hours: 37.5 per week (includes evening and weekends)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £22,721.25 per annum (payable monthly)

General Overview
To assist with the management team on shift, ensuring great customer service and providing a high standard of motivation and role model for our team of apprentice staff.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth running of the breakfast, food, conference and bar as well as the day to day operation.
- Support managers and team ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
- Provide a high standard of motivation and be a superb role model for our team of apprentices.
- Ensure high standards are achieved and internal operations are performed in an effective and efficient manner.
- Meet, greet and register guests, and provide continuous outstanding guest service during their stay. 6. Make and modify reservations accurately and efficiently.
- Multi-task as hotel operator and carry out concierge duties.
- Maintain a positive and upbeat persona with a desire to delivery outstanding customer service to our guests.
- Ability to multi-task and remain detail-oriented at all times.
Skills & Experience
- Confident individual who is committed about providing opportunity to vulnerable young people.
- Team player and also able to work on own initiative.
- Self-motivated and flexible.
- Ability to provide emotional and social support whilst promoting learning and respect.
- Willingness to accept leadership and mentoring from management.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality record.
- Commitment to providing a high standard of customer care.
- Ideally some hospitality or customer facing back ground, or willingness to undergo training.
- Willingness to undergo training in EPOS, PMS (Property Management Systems) OTAs (Online Travel Agencies).
- Flexible attitude and willing to adapt to new pressures.
- I.T and social media skills would be a distinct advantage.
Education/Qualifications
- Relevant Level 2 qualification or relevant proven experience.
- Excellent standard of written and verbal English.
- Personal licence or willingness to undergo training.
