Leekes in Cheltenham is seeking a General Assistant for full time or part time positions up to 36 hours per week. You will deliver friendly customer service and help keep the sales floor well merchandised.

About the team:

Joining our retail team in Cheltenham means you will be part of a highly motivated, customer focused and supportive work environment.

Our retail sales consultants and advisors play an essential role in looking after our customers and providing them with excellent customer service as well as ensuring that their departments are well stocked with our full product range.

This retail role requires flexibility to work any 5 days per week including weekends and some bank holidays. In return we offer our staff a range of benefits including:

About the role:

• Always deliver exceptional customer service to our retail customers.
• Work with your colleagues to ensure that the sales floor is well merchandised, and products are displayed to promote customer interest.
• Use of IT systems to search for products, place customer orders and print point of sale.
• Till operation
• Stock take and stock returns.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse.

About you:

• Enjoy working in a customer focused retail environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate in a clear and friendly manner.
• Strong organisational and IT skills.
• This role will involve frequent heavy lifting of items such as furniture and as such applicants must be physically capable of repetitive manual handling procedures.
