Job description

The General Operatives are responsible for:

  • Pack food liners in accordance with written specification.
  • Conduct temperature, quality, and product date checks.
  • Seal flight canisters, trolleys, and record numbers.
  • Coordinating / managing stock.
  • Sort and assemble bars into flights, working as a team to achieve targets.
  • Check trolley seals and cross-check with customs paperwork.
  • General washing, sorting, assembling, packing, and positioning of the aircraft equipment, using an industrial dishwasher.
  • Process and strip trolleys and deliver to relevant department.
  • Offload and sort equipment/food and ensure it is delivered to the correct processing area.
  • Load/off-load lorries, stack shelves, and replenish equipment/food items.
  • Conduct quality and product date checks.
  • Daily stock count of the list.
  • Clean the working areas.

Hours of Work:

  • Shift Pattern: Either 4 Days on/2 Days off OR 5 out of 7 days.
  • Pay Rate: £12.30 P/H. Overtime available.
  • Start Times: 08:00 AM - 16:00 PM.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm

Pay: £12.30 per hour
