Job summary

Klondyke in Crieff is seeking a Part Time Permanent General Retail Assistant to join our Garden & Visitor Centre team. The role is 16 hours per week over two days, with regular weekend shifts, so flexibility is essential.

You will provide excellent customer service, manage till operations and merchandising across departments, create appealing product displays and assist customers around the centre, while keeping areas clean and helping with lifting purchases and trolley duties.

Qualifications

• Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service.
• Knowledge of Garden Centre products preferred but training will be given.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Great teamwork.
• Hardworking and reliable.
• Shift flexibility including weekends and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Till operation and serving customers.
• Stock replenishment and merchandising across all departments.

• Carrying out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars.

Our competitive rates of pay range isdependent on age.

The Role

As a General Retail Assistant, you have a responsibility to provide excellent customer service, creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers helping them to make informed purchases.

What you will be doing as a General Retail Assistant?

• Creating and maintaining fabulous product displays
• Assisting our customer across the Centre taking every opportunity to WOW.
• Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
