Job summary

Sanctuary Housing Association is seeking a General Assistant - Cleaning for our Kingswood site in Chester. The role is 20 hours per week across Wed 3-7pm, Thurs 10-2pm, Sat 8-2pm, and Sun 8-2pm, at Kingswood, Kingsway, Chester, CH2 2FF.

You will support residents in a compassionate retirement community, carrying out cleaning duties to a high standard and reporting hazards. The package includes generous leave, pension, life insurance, and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with general cleaning duties (desirable).
• Some experience in a domestic or catering environment.
• Level 2 diploma in housekeeping or catering, or willingness to work towards.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Complete all cleaning duties to a high standard.
• Report any faults or hazards to maintain a safe environment.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure equipment is used safely.
