General Assistant

Location: Dounreay
Department: ESS
Reporting to: Supervisor

Are you passionate about maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment? We are looking for a dedicated General Assistant to join our team at ESS. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
What You’ll Be Doing:
️ Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the site
️ Responding to customer requests and striving to exceed expectations
️ Completing daily housekeeping tasks as directed by your supervisor
️ Carrying out routine inspections and reporting maintenance issues
️ Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and efficiently
️ Following all Health & Safety and COSHH procedures
️ Maintaining accurate records of cleaning activities
️ Reporting hazards, near misses, and accidents promptly
️ Working as part of a team to create a positive and professional environment
️ Taking part in training and continuous development

What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential)
Knowledge of Health & Safety, including COSHH regulations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High standards of personal hygiene and professionalism
A proactive, can-do attitude with a passion for great service
Willingness to learn and adapt to different tasks
