We currently have an opportunity for a General Catering Assistant (experience not essential)

It is a small prep school in Sevenoaks.

Basic food prep knowledge would be desirable.

Job Description

As a General Catering Assistant, you will…

• Assist in preparing and serving lunch, snacks, and sandwiches for after-school care, following established menus and recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness of front and back of house areas, including organizing dishes and utensils.
• Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure safety and prevent contamination.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management of shortages or discrepancies.
• Provide friendly, efficient service to students and staff, addressing dietary needs and concerns.
• Participate in training sessions on food service procedures, safety, and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in Education catering is preferred but not essential.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety standards.
• Flexible, customer-focused, and proactive attitude.
