About The Role

At Swanton House, every job role contributes to making a difference in the lives of the young people we support.

Job title: General Assistant

Location: Melton Constable, Norfolk (Must be able to drive due to rural location of the service)

Salary: £12.60 per hour

Hours: 8am - 4pm

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist the cook in the kitchen with preparing simple meals
  • Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and tidy
  • Undertake cleaning tasks around the service, including rooms, public areas, and offices
  • Wash laundry, including linen and residents' clothes
  • Check and replenish stock levels of consumables

About you

Experience in housekeeping, preferably within a care environment, is advantageous. Knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety is beneficial but not essential. You should be compassionate, have excellent communication skills, and be committed to providing high-quality support. About The Service

Swanton Care Centre - Swanton House is set in 22 acres of grounds in North Norfolk. We support up to 49 individuals across three separate homes, offering both Residential and Nursing Care.
