GSF Car Parts Limited is seeking a General Assistant to support day-to-day branch operations, including delivery driving, warehouse tasks and counter sales. You will engage with customers face-to-face, service click-and-collect orders and help achieve branch targets.

The role requires flexibility across multiple areas, a proactive customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work 20 hours per week with potential to increase to 41 hours depending on business needs.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within retail, sales, warehouse or delivery environments
• Positive, proactive approach with a strong focus on customer service and resolving queries effectively
• Motivated and target-driven, with the ability to contribute towards sales and branch performance
• Confident using IT systems to support order processing, stock management and customer interactions
• Ability to work flexibly across delivery driving, warehouse operations and counter sales
• Strong teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
• Good attention to detail, particularly when picking orders and handling customer requests
• Full UK driving licence (or requirement to drive, if applicable)
• Knowledge of car parts or automotive industry advantageous but not essential
• Familiarity with systems such as MAM, Allicat or MS Office is desirable

• Delivery driving duties, ensuring accurate, safe and timely delivery of parts while providing excellent service
• Serving trade and retail customers on the counter, supporting enquiries, orders and upselling where appropriate
• Picking and packing parts from the warehouse to fulfil customer and delivery orders efficiently and accurately
• Supporting click and collect orders and ensuring customers are served promptly
• Assisting the sales team with product promotions and handling telephone and electronic queries
• Fully satisfying customer needs regarding part orders, returns or queries
• Checking customer returns for resale, warranty or surcharge purposes
• Contributing to a positive team performance while working towards KPIs and sales targets
• Maintaining high standards of organisation, cleanliness and health & safety across areas
• Developing strong relationships with customers and understanding their needs
• Promoting a professional company image and representing GSF values
• Utilising the E-learning portal to develop product knowledge and improve performance
• Always working towards the achievement of relevant set KPI’s

About The Role

At GSF Car Parts, the role of a General Assistant is all encompassing to support our aim of delivering excellent Customer Service. This role requires flexibility across multiple areas of the branch, including working as a Delivery Driver, Warehouse Operative and Retail Counter Assistant, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily operations.

You will play a crucial part of the team; contributing towards achieving branch and individual targets through face-to-face sales, servicing click and collect orders, and developing strong customer relationships.

Working hours are Monday to Saturday, 20 hours per week, with the opportunity to increase up to 41 hours depending on business needs.
