Role: General Assistant (Housekeeper and Domestic)
Pay: 12.21 p/h
Location: Downing House, Swinbourne Grove, Withington, M20 4PP
Hours: 28 Hours a week and alternative weekends.
Shift Times: 9:00am - 4:00pm

The Role of General Assistant:

• As one of our valued general assistants, you’re at the front line of care. We’re passionate about creating a lovely environment for our residents to enjoy. You’ll help us keep our home clean and tidy, assist with meal preparation, and welcome visitors.
• Ensure residents enjoy a tidy and well-maintained environment, manage clean laundry, and support Kitchen staff in preparing meals to high standards.
• Work within cleaning and housekeeping schedules as set by the Home Manager or Housekeeper.
• Clean residents’ bedrooms, self-contained flats, communal areas, and offices as needed.
• Assist in providing healthy, nutritious food for residents, keeping kitchen and store areas clean, and following hygienic practices to ensure safety.
