Job summary

Holroyd Howe, a leading UK contract caterer, seeks a General Assistant to support daily food service at Fidelis College. You will help prepare, serve, and present meals to pupils, staff and visitors with care, accuracy and strong hygiene standards.

You will join a team dedicated to allergen management and safe dining, delivering high-quality meals tailored to each school’s needs while maintaining service areas and contributing to events.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation, service, and presentation of food to a high standard.

• Provide excellent customer service to pupils, staff, and visitors.
• Set up and clear service areas, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Follow all food safety, health & safety, and safeguarding procedures.
• Contribute to hospitality events and occasional out-of-hours functions.
• Accountability for following and championing allergen controls.

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable General Assistant to support the day-to-day food and service delivery across the school. This role is essential in ensuring pupils, staff, and visitors receive high-quality, nutritious meals served with care, efficiency, and attention to detail.

You will be joining Holroyd Howe, one of the UK's leading contract caterers, providing fresh innovative food services solely to independent schools and colleges.
