A renowned hotel and restaurant is seeking a General Assistant to support various departments including restaurant, housekeeping, and reception. Ideal candidates should have a passion for quality service and a proactive attitude. WHO:
We need a General Assistant who is a good all-rounder, happy to work across our restaurant, housekeeping and reception to support the team where needed.
THEY SHOULD:
- Have a passion for delivering quality and friendly service to our guests in line with the service standards we set up.
- Be happy to work across different departments.
- Be able to communicate clearly and work under pressure.
- Have a flexible attitude in their approach and work well alone when needed.
- Support other areas of the hotel and be a team player.
- Have attention to detail.
- Have a pro-active and motivated attitude.
- Want to work in a small team where you get involved in different areas of the business.

Gidleigh Park is open Tuesday to Saturday each week, guaranteeing most employees Sunday and Monday off. The hotel may also offer on-site staff accommodation to help new team members relocate and settle in, along with free on-site parking.
SERVICE CHARGE: We pay our team a service charge each month, which is pooled and 100% shared among all staff. The service charge can be around £395 per month (approximately £4,750 per year) for a full-time employee, in addition to base pay.
