Role: General Assistant (Housekeeper and Domestic)
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Location: Downing House, Swinbourne Grove, Withington, M20 4PP
Hours: 28 hours a week and alternative weekends
Shift Times: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

The Role of General Assistant:

  • As a valued general assistant, you’ll be at the front line of care, helping to create a pleasant environment for residents. Your duties include keeping the home clean and tidy, assisting with meal preparation, and welcoming visitors.
  • Ensure residents enjoy a tidy and well-maintained environment, including clean laundry and supporting kitchen staff in preparing high-standard meals.
  • Work within cleaning and housekeeping schedules set by the Home Manager or Housekeeper.
  • This role involves cleaning residents’ bedrooms, flats, communal areas, and offices.
  • Assist in providing healthy, nutritious food by maintaining cleanliness in kitchens and storage areas and following hygienic practices to ensure residents’ safety.
