Job summary

McLaren Automotive is seeking a technician in the production area to ensure a seamless operation and high-standard build delivery for a supercar. You will report to the Team Leader/Group Leader and focus on following the PES build process while escalating issues promptly.

Key responsibilities include strict adherence to health and safety guidelines, maintaining quality and efficiency, and contributing to ambitious company goals within a dynamic team at McLaren Automotive.

Qualifications

• Understanding of processes/work instructions to deliver a consistent process.
• Understanding of workplace safety risk assessments and their meaning.
• Ability to make sound and logical decisions.
• Experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Knowledge within automotive sector would be desirable.

Job description

As a technician within the production area, reporting to the Team Leader/Group Leader at McLaren Automotive, you will take on a role in ensuring the seamless and efficient operation within one of our Process areas, ensuring your build process is delivered to a high standard.

What You'll Do

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure all health and safety guidelines are adhered too, the build process (PES) is followed to build a supercar to the desired standard and to escalate any build issues to your leader within takt. Your contributions will be instrumental in achieving our ambitious goals as a company.

What You'll Bring

Essential Functional / Technical Skills:

• The understanding of processes/work instructions to deliver a consistent process.
• The understanding of workplace safety risk assessments and their meaning.
• Ability to make sound and logical decisions.
• Experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
