Job summary

MPI Limited is seeking a General Assembly Operative in Kempston to join its Sheet Metal team. You will assemble products to the customer’s specification and adapt to a fast-paced work environment as priorities change.

Training will be provided for the right candidate and there is a route from temp to permanent for the successful applicant.

Qualifications

• Be a good team worker.
• Good grasp of basic numeracy.
• Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills.
• Experience of working within a Sheet Metal Department preferred but not essential.
• Ability to use measuring equipment.
• Ability to work under pressure when meeting deadlines.

Job Overview

• Working within our Sheet Metal department you will be carrying out the assembly of our product ensuring that the items are finished according to the customer’s specification.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment with fast changing priorities
• Training will be undertaken for the right candidate
