This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new acute Mental Health service that's opening in Summer 2024. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a key role in shaping the care pathways and building the culture alongside the senior leadership team. The role involves providing treatment for women and men who may have suffered trauma and are affected by mental disorders, with the support of a non-consultant grade doctor and Lead Consultant Psychiatrist.
As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will take on RC responsibility for Dunnock View (subject to final CQC registration). Your responsibilities will include ensuring people admitted are assessed, treated, and discharged safely, medication management, quality assurance, complaints and co-production, delivery of NICE guidance, and leading the CPA and ICR process. You will also be required to take part in the On Call Consultant rota.
