Job Description:

You will be responsible for having a detailed understanding of Golden Processes, ICE controls standards, Finance Manual, and general accounting principles to ensure compliance with all accounting and reporting processes.

You will need to ensure that local, statutory, and corporate reporting processes are timely and effective, complying with local tax and legal requirements. Additionally, ensure local accounting aligns with local and group standards.

This role offers excellent progression opportunities within the business and involves participation in ad hoc projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of relevant Order-to-Cash (O2C) process activities, including invoicing, sales credits, price changes, promotional activities, trade terms, and off-invoice discounts, ensuring correct representation in local and corporate reports.
  • Management of periodic, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, producing reports for Royal Canin headquarters, Mars Inc., and local reporting, including Intrastat.
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and oversight of Blackline reconciliations.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of financial results through data integrity and compliance within a controls environment.
  • Providing data for internal and external audits within agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • Driving governance within the functional area, including the rollout and maintenance of the Internal Controls Excellence (ICE) framework.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in finance, accounting, or relevant experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Fluency in another language is preferred but not required.
